During customs control in international postal exchange at the "Rosan" joint-stock company, customs officers scanned a parcel sent from China in the name of Alla Nikiforova. The cargo contained 15 sets of new electric screwdrivers of the Mi brand, model MJDDLSD003QW.
Due to the presence of signs of illegal use of a protected trademark, the customs clearance of the parcel was suspended. On 27 October 2026, the judge of the Halychtskyi District Court of Lviv found the citizen guilty of an administrative offence provided for by Article 476 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. In addition to the main fine of 17,000 hryvnia, the court ordered the destruction of all seized counterfeit screwdrivers. The woman must also pay the costs of storing the goods in the customs warehouse in the amount of 55.03 hryvnia and the court fee of 665.60 hryvnia.
