Launch of Apple's first foldable smartphone

On October 30, sales of the iPhone Duo officially began in Ukraine. This is the first smartphone from Apple with a foldable design. The brand's authorised distributor in Ukraine, ACBIS-Ukraine, announced the start of sales. After a week of accepting pre-orders, the new device became available for purchase at official partners.

Technical specifications and display

The device's main feature is the presence of two displays. In the folded state, users get a compact smartphone with a 5.4-inch external screen. When the device is unfolded, a large 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display appears. The area of this screen is 50% larger than that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, allowing the smartphone to function as a tablet-like gadget.

This configuration offers a new way of interacting with iOS. On the large screen, users can work with two applications simultaneously: for example, editing a document while messaging, or opening a website and comparing information in another window. The system interface automatically adapts to the device's current folding state.

Performance and battery life

The A20 Pro processor is responsible for the device's speed. Multimedia functions are provided by the Dual Fusion camera system, which consists of two 48-megapixel camera modules.

The smartphone's body is made of titanium. The device is equipped with two batteries that function as a single power system. According to Apple, the device provides up to 31 hours of video playback on the internal display.
