Death of a defender in Donetsk region

On 30 October 2026, 29-year-old serviceman Yuriy Havryliuk, known by the callsign "Patron", was killed while carrying out a combat mission in Donetsk region. The defender is from Bucha.

Path in the ranks of defenders

Yuriy Havryliuk joined the defence of the state immediately after the start of the full-scale invasion. In March 2022, he joined the Volunteer Formation of the Irpin community. Together with his comrades, he took part in fierce battles for Irpin, as well as in operations to liberate and clear the Irpin community and neighbouring communities of Russian occupiers.
