Millionaire psychiatrist planned €650,000 villa purchase in Turkey

According to sources in the SBU, Ukrainian psychiatrist Oleg Druz, known for his lavish lifestyle, intended to purchase a villa in Turkey worth €650,000. Previously, he had already acquired four luxury BMWs, three apartments, and a mansion near Kyiv.

Attempt to buy a villa

In 2024, Druz visited Turkey twice, where he sought luxury real estate through a real estate agent. One of the offers was a three-storey villa with a pool, priced at €650,000. According to the investigation, the transactions were accompanied by attempts to bribe officials to simplify the process.

Family interests abroad

It is reported that Druz's adopted daughter resides in Turkey. Specifically for her, he purchased a hybrid Toyota car, capturing the moment of purchase on video, where he accidentally appeared in a reflection.

Luxury for pets and family ties

The suspect also spared no expense for his dogs. A kennel costing 300,000 hryvnia was built for them.

Druz's family circle is also of interest. His current wife, Olga Sedova, is a native of Russia but has already obtained Ukrainian citizenship. Her son, Druz's stepson, lives in Kyiv but continues to hold a Russian passport.

Court ruling

Recall that the court selected a preventive measure for Druz in the form of detention for 60 days, with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 49 million hryvnia.
