Investigation of events in Kyiv region

The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) continues work on the case concerning the possible illegal detention of military personnel in a house near the capital. In parallel, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has focused its attention on participants of a mass action that took place at the same location.

Criminal proceedings and identification of suspects

Deputy Head of SBU Rudnytskyi informed that law enforcement agencies have opened three separate criminal proceedings. Their charges include obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, disseminating information about the location of Defence Forces, and mass riots.

According to Rudnytskyi, investigators have managed to identify the identities of approximately 100 people who took part in the events. Measures are currently being prepared for their detention.

Link to the release of a draft dodger

Rudnytskyi claims that these riots were used to free a man who went to military service.

Interior Minister Vyhovskyy commented on the situation, calling the events a "kind of scheme for extracting draft dodgers".
