Expansion of the evacuation perimeter

Officials in Donetsk Oblast have decided to expand the territory from which children must be forcibly evacuated. This applies to certain districts of Kramatorsk. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin.

Organisation of the process

The evacuation is being organised with the participation of parents, their substitutes, or legal representatives. Local military administrations, police, rescuers, and the children's affairs service are involved in this work. The authorities guarantee the accompaniment of citizens at all stages: from leaving home to arriving at the reception point and subsequent placement in safer regions.

Justification for the decision

Vadym Filashkin emphasised the criticality of the situation:

«Безпекова ситуація погіршується, і чекати, поки небезпека прийде безпосередньо до вашого будинку, - надто великий ризик.
