Zelensky: 500 PAC-3 missiles for Patriot will arrive only in a few years

Waiting instead of urgent aid

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to information published by the US State Department regarding the sale of air defence systems for Patriot to Kyiv.

The head of state confirmed that the expected deliveries will not be a quick solution for strengthening defence. According to him, the first batches may arrive only in a few years.

Appeal to American partners

In his message, Zelensky emphasised the importance of promptness in the context of the ongoing war.
