Prime Minister to support citizens' demands

Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs has announced his intention to personally participate in a protest action dedicated to the issue of agricultural product transit. The event, titled "No to Blood Grain!", is scheduled for Saturday, 7 November, and will take place in the city of Jekabpils.

The main goal of the rally participants is to achieve a complete ban on the movement of grain from the territory of the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied areas of Ukraine via Latvian transit.

Position of the head of the cabinet of ministers

Commenting on his participation in the event, the Prime Minister stated: "У мене є чітке послання, з яким я туди прийду" (I have a clear message with which I will go there). It is expected that the head of government's presence at the action will significantly increase public attention to the protesters' demands to stop the transport of Russian grain through the country's territory.
