Volodymyr Zelensky published a statement warning of an imminent threat of Russian strikes on key Ukrainian infrastructure facilities. According to available intelligence, energy facilities, bridges across the Dnipro, and civilian infrastructure are under threat of a new attack.

State of air defence

The President emphasised that the Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already preparing to repel the offensive. “The Air Force and the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a whole are preparing for defence. It is not easy,” he noted.

Ensuring effective defence critically depends on having a sufficient quantity of means of destruction. Specifically, this refers to interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems. Zelensky underlined that every agreement with partners and every day in the delivery schedule matters.

Appeal to the international community and citizens

The head of state called on international partners not to delay the transfer of necessary weapons. Meanwhile, Ukrainians are advised to observe safety rules and be as cautious as possible given the threat of missile strikes.

The statement concludes with the words: “Slava Ukraini!”.
