Widespread access issues with the app

On the morning of 20 October, the international banking service Revolut suffered a significant technical failure. Users from various regions around the world, particularly from European countries and the United States, began reporting problems with the platform's functionality. Clients claim they are unable to log in to their personal accounts or perform standard financial actions.

What is not working in the app

According to the publication "Ostorozhno, novosti", citing client reports, the system displays an error message when users attempt to authorise in the app. Among the main user complaints are:

  • inability to make money transfers;
  • inability to withdraw cash;
  • issues with currency exchange;
  • unavailability of support service communication channels.

Comment from Revolut representatives

The company confirmed the partial unavailability of its services. Meanwhile, Revolut representatives assured the public that clients' personal data and financial assets remain protected.

«Ми працюємо над усуненням проблеми з моменту її виявлення сьогодні вранці та перепрошуємо всіх, кого торкнувся збій, за завдані незручності» (We have been working to resolve the issue since it was detected this morning and apologise to everyone affected by the outage for the inconvenience), Revolut stated.

The company is currently not disclosing the specific causes of the technical failures, nor is it providing exact timelines for when all services will be fully restored.
