Olena Moruzhko, the sister of Irina Koretska, wife of Serhiy Koretskyi, the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, has expanded her business portfolio in the field of unmanned technologies.
A year ago, she became a co-founder of Nord Drone Group LLC. This company, with a charter capital of 10,000 hryvnias, signed a letter of intent with the US holding AIRO Group Holdings Inc. almost immediately after registration. The parties planned to create a joint venture with a monthly production capacity of 25,000 UAVs.
In April 2026, Olena Moruzhko appeared in the founding team of two American companies – Skywall and Pitch Dynasmics.
In all three structures, her partners were Yevhen Kotukh, a cybersecurity expert, and Chirinjeev Kathuria, an American entrepreneur of Sikh origin.
AIRO Group Holdings, founded by Kathuria, is not among the global technology giants, but demonstrates a stable annual revenue of $90 million. The holding has subsidiaries in Denmark and Canada.
The firm has passed preliminary qualification by the US and Canadian Ministries of Defence, which opens access to new contracts in the drone sector.
It is unlikely that a foreign investor would have entered into cooperation with a newly established Ukrainian firm without assurances regarding influential officials in Kyiv.
At the time the agreement was signed, Serhiy Koretskyi did not yet hold the position of Prime Minister, but in the Office of the President, he was already being considered as a possible replacement for Yulia Svyrydenko.
The legal support for the creation of the joint venture between Nord Drone Group and AIRO Group Holdings was taken on by Asters – the largest full-service law firm in Ukraine. Former Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov previously worked at this firm, and its lawyers later raised funds for the bail of Andriy Yermak.
Currently, despite the passing year, the joint venture has not yet started full-scale operations. However, Serhiy Koretskyi's acquisition of the status of Prime Minister may contribute to accelerating the process.
In 2023–2024, the business structures of Serhiy Koretskyi and Olena Moruzhko actively interacted in the petroleum products market.
At that time, Koretskyi headed the state companies Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta. In December 2022, Moruzhko founded Ukrainian Fuel Standard LLC.
In 2023, this company won state tenders worth 63 million hryvnias, and in 2024 – another 155 million hryvnias. Among the customers were the United Mining and Chemical Company, Forests of Ukraine, Ukrposhta, South Port, Kyiv Metro, and the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office.
In the auctions, Moruzhko's firm often offered fuel vouchers from Ukrnafta or petroleum products from Kremenchuk Refinery (a component of Ukrtatnafta), as well as imported products through Ukrnafta-Postach. Prices were usually discounted compared to the offers from Koretskyi's state companies.
In 2025, Ukrainian Fuel Standard sharply scaled down its activities. This year, Olena Moruzhko completely exited the composition of founders of this firm, switching to microtech.
