Zelensky informs on Starshield technical limitations and SpaceX's role in their application

Management of the Starshield programme

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that the Starshield system is managed by SpaceX. This information contradicts earlier statements by Elon Musk, who claimed that control over the programme belongs to the Pentagon.

Limitations and their implementation

The head of state reported that the exchange of American intelligence data had been resumed. At the same time, he emphasised the existence of limitations regarding the use of Starshield, which is applied for defence and combat against Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles.

Обмеження Starshield, що застосовуються для оборони та боротьби з «Шахедами», технічно вводить SpaceX” (The exchange of American intelligence data has been resumed. The limitations on Starshield, which is used for defence and combat against Shaheds, are technically introduced by SpaceX), Zelensky stated.

Thus, the president hinted that Elon Musk had disabled Starshield for Ukraine.
